Clinical Psychology Referrals
Private referrals are welcome; please contact us directly via phone or email to discuss options and organise an initial appointment. Alternatively, we will reach out to you on receipt of an external referral.
During your initial session, Claire will provide a brief introduction to psychological therapy (if required), including confidentiality and limitations to this. Your treatment goals will be explored, along with relevant history, background and external factors that may be impacting you. Intervention options will be discussed and we will collaboratively develop a treatment plan suitable to your needs. The initial session will also determine the expected treatment duration and frequency of any follow up appointments.
Individual sessions usually take 50 minutes to an hour, though the initial assessment session may take up to 90 minutes. Specialist treatment options may also require longer sessions, and would be discussed with you prior to scheduling.
Costs
Individual clinical psychology appointments usually incur a cost of $240, though fees may vary depending on service provision. Clients may be eligible for a Medicare rebate (currently $145.25) with an appropriate referral and treatment plan.
Extended sessions may be required for specific treatments, including EMDR processing (90+ minutes). In these cases, fees will be adjusted and discussed prior to scheduling.

Medicare
Medicare rebates may be available if your doctor or psychiatrist refers you with a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 individual treatment sessions per calendar year, with a review by your doctor required after the sixth session.
Private Health Cover
Private health insurers may also apply rebates. Please check with your provide as this will depend on your specific policy.
NDIS
Psychology services are available under NDIS if you have an approved plan-managed or self-managed NDIS Plan. Please reach out for further information if required.
Cancellation fees
Cancellation fees may required if occurring within a 24-hour period.
Supervision and Consultation
Individuals seeking clinical supervision can reach out to discuss current training needs and explore supervision expectations and needs. Rates vary depending on services required and are around $200 per hour + GST. Group supervision is available on request, with fees to be confirmed according to group size and training/support needs.
